The autumn views of the Wye Valley & Monmouthshire are worth coming to see for yourself. The colour changes are glorious, and we have the perfect viewpoints for leaf-peeping.
Here are our four favourite autumnal viewpoints in Monmouthshire :
With fantastic views over the Lower Wye Valley & Chepstow, Eagle's Nest is worth climbing the 365 steps for.

Rising high above the ancient forest of Wentwood, Gray Hill offers unparalleled views over the Severn Estuary and Gwent Levels. But it also lets you see over the top of the 2,500 acres of Wentwood and the gorgeous colours of the treetops.
Try the Wentwood to Gray Hill walk to see this viewpoint for yourself.
Whilst Eagle's Nest looks south, the Devil's Pulpit looks north over the picturesque village of Tintern and its iconic Abbey, showcasing the beautiful colours of the Wye Valley.
(Be aware that the Wireworks Bridge is currently closed, meaning walks from Tintern need to head north and cross the river at Brockweir)

The Kymin doesn't just overlook the town of Monmouth, but on a clear day you can see all the way to Abergavenny & the Sugarloaf in the Brecon Beacons. It's perfect for those crisp autumn days.
