Thursday 24th October 6.30pm, in Tretower Court. A talk by Professor Ronald Hutton entitled, "Nos Galon Gaeaf, Halloween, the Welsh New Year". Halloween (in Welsh, Nos Galan) is traditionally the scariest of British seasonal festivals: but does it deserve this reputation, and how much of the way in which we celebrate it now is genuinely old?
