On this 7 mile (11km) walk you will start in Redbrook before crossing the old railway bridge over the River Wye. The route then climbs to Penallt with its ancient church and then on to Monmouth before following part of the Offa’s Dyke National Trail to the top of the Kymin with superb views across Monmouth town and the surrounding area. The route then returns to Redbrook. 

Lots of stiles and two very steep slopes. Bring a packed lunch and a drink. Wear stout shoes or boots and bring waterproof clothing. Assistance dogs only please. There is no charge for this activity but places must be booked.

The timings for each walk is only an approximate guide. The actual time may vary depending on the weather, the terrain, the number of stiles as well as the number and ability of the walkers.

Booking is essential. Anyone not on the list will not be able to join the walk. 

Cancellation. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have to cancel so that we can offer the places to other walkers. MonLife Countryside Access Team reserve the right to cancel the walk due to adverse weather, illness of leaders or any other unforeseen reason.
