The Llanthony Priory bar is open within the priory building itself, and open for drinks from Friday to Sunday. It has recently been taken over, and there are plans to open the kitchen and accommodation as soon as possible.

Llanthony Priory ruins

The priory ruins are managed by Cadw, and information on them can be found here. The ruins are open to visit every day. Any out of hours private viewing just needs to be agreed with the owners and the local Cadw key keeper.

Dark Skies at Llanthony Priory

Llanthony Priory is a noted and popular Dark Skies location. The priory can be accessed at night with prior notification to the hotel / bar owners. You can also get great views from the car park and surrounding area.
