About
Warren Slade is a woodland in Thornwell on the southeast edge of Chepstow, whilst Park Redding is a linked but distinct woodland. With dramatic views on top of cliffs at the lower end of The River Wye Gorge at Chepstow, Warren Slade forms the early part of the Wales Coast Path.
Park Redding Woodlands is mostly level whilst Warren Slade is on a slope.
Warren Slade can be reached easily from Chepstow Town Centre, and there is on-street parking near the entrance (just off the roadabout between Bluebell Drive, Conway Drive and Denbigh Drive).
Warren Slade is managed by the MonLife Countryside Service for Monmouthshire County Council.
