The view from Buckholt Wood

About

Join Buckholt Bryngaer for a fun-filled day of learning and hands-on activities with Gwent Wildlife Trust to celebrate and promote conservation efforts in Buckholt Wood.

This event is all about giving back to nature and making a real difference to our local environment. Whether you're a seasoned conservationist or just looking to try something new, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and meet like-minded individuals. Don't miss out on this chance to make a positive impact and have a great time doing it!

We will be under the guidance of an experienced conservationist from Gwent Wildlife Trust, installing 'bug hotels', places for the insects and small animals to nest and hide away from preditors. While we construct these, we will learn more about where the different species like to live and why.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear long trousers (in case of ticks), sturdy footwear (walking boots are fine) and bring along a water bottle.
