Skirrid

About

A mountain of myths and legend, join us on a twilight hike to the summit of The Skirrid, a small peak in the Eastern area of the Brecon Beacons known as the Black Mountains.

Folklore and fantasy. Satan and the Almighty. This mountain has experienced it all. You will learn all about it’s dark history and hear some spooky tales as we hike in the shadows of twilight. We’ll watch the sunset from the atmospheric remains of the chapel on the summit and enjoy a post hike pint in the notoriously haunted inn which sits at the foot of the mountain.

The hike will take approximately 2-3 hours. You will need appropriate clothing for the weather and sturdy boots.

Price includes hot drinks, snacks and a drink in the pub afterwards ( glass of wine / pint of beer / soft drink ).

Expect some spooky surprises!
