Whether unearthing a feminist twist hidden in a traditional tale, delivering a poignant anti-war ballad, or showcasing their immense multi-instrumental talents in original compositions that draw on a myriad of musical influences.

The combined vocal and multi-instrumental talents of Hazel Askew,Hannah James and Rowan Rheingans (individually three of the most accomplishedand adventurous artists in modern folk) transmute to form a unified voice,carrying stories of sisterhood, human struggle, the joy of living and thevitality of music.

Their new album, Tender – released to critical acclaim in November 2022 – comprises original songs written by Lady Maisery, as well ascontemplative and personal interpretations of work by Björk, Tracy Chapman and thelate Lal Waterson.
