About

Join MonLife Countryside for this free 5 mile (8 km) walk following the Beacons Way to the top of the Skirrid Fawr, from where beautiful views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed. We will descend to Pant-y-Tyle before turning in a westerly direction to return to the start, at a low level via Dan-y-Skirrid and Pant Skirrid Farms, again enjoying open views across Abergavenny.

Bring your own packed lunch and a drink. Wear boots or stout shoes and bring waterproof clothing. Assistance dogs only please. There is no charge for this activity. Steep slopes up and down the Skirrid, thereafter mainly undulating lanes and a number of stiles.
