Join us on this 11 mile (17.75km) walk where you will climb the Little Skirrid, then via fields and lanes make your way to the base of Skirrid Fawr before climbing up through the oak woodland and following the ridge to the top. Find out about the folklore and history associated with the mountain and enjoy brilliant views towards Monmouth to the south and Abergavenny and the Black Mountains to the north. Return to Abergavenny via part of the Marches Way.

Lots of stiles. Two long steep slopes. Bring a packed lunch and a drink. Wear stout shoes or boots and bring waterproof clothing. Assistance dogs only please. There is no charge for this activity.
