Join Monmouthshire Countryside for a FREE 9.5 mile (15 km) guided walk through the bluebells and beauty spots of the Wye Valley near Monmouth. The walk will start with a steep ascent along the Offa’s Dyke National Trail to the top of the Kymin hill. From here you will hopefully enjoy fantastic views across Monmouth and the Monnow Valley. Continue through woodland to visit the Suckstone and Near Harkening Rock. Cross the river and return to Monmouth meandering along the banks of the River Wye.

1 very steep slopes, 2 other slopes and a few stiles. Not suitable for dogs, including assistance dogs. Wear boots or stout shoes and bring waterproof clothing. Bring a packed lunch and a drink. There is no charge for this activity.

The timings for each walk is only an approximate guide. The actual time may vary depending on the weather, the terrain, the number of stiles as well as the number and ability of the walkers.

Please email marklangley@monmouthshire.gov.uk if you find out on the day of the walk that you cannot make it.
