Come and discover, create and get back to nature on one of our nature-based activity sessions taking place at Old Station Tintern every Thursday over the Summer Holidays (except Thursday 1st August).

Thursday 25th July & Thursday 22nd August - Messy Week (10.30am - 12:00)

Create a mud monster, make your own nature paintbrush, leave your mark with hand and foot mud painting and have fun with bubble wands and wire flowers.

Thursday 8th August - Minibeast Week (10.30am - 12:00)

Build and sculpt your very own clay bugs and homes, go on a bug hunting adventure and make even more insects like our chirruping cricket that can be heard in the meadow.  

Thursday 15th August - Willow Week (10.30am - 12:00)

Come and learn how to make a willow crown, a fish or a butterfly, create a beautiful flower press using natural and recycled materials and create beautiful flower bunting.    

Thursday 29th August - Plant & Flower Week (10.30am - 12:00)

Use natural materials to create your own art frame and an amazing woodland mask. Have a go at flower and plant bashing, experimenting with natural dyes to make your own bunting. 

Tickets are £4 per child (adults don't need to book) and comes with a free ticket for the miniature train (to be redeemed on the day or another time). All craft material will be provided, and each child can take home their creations at the end of the session. Can children please wear appropriate footwear.

Times - 10.30am. Each session will last around 1 to 1.5 hours.
Cost - £4 per child. Each booking for one child. Adults do not need to book
Ages - Suitable from ages 3+.
Where to go - Craft activities will be under the stretch tent next to the overflow car park.
