About

The Wye Valley Sculpture Garden is the creation of artist Gemma Kate Wood, that she has built over the last 20 years.
The garden has grown into a beautiful venue that hosts her sculpture collection and excitingly, the work of 23 other artists to create the Summer Sculpture Exhibition.

Artists, writers and poets have always come to marvel at the picturesque landscape of the Wye Valley, so it seems only fitting that today we are able continue that legacy and exhibit great works in this setting.
We very much want to put art back on the map in the Wye Valley and in Wales as a place that people come to view and purchase art.

The garden itself is 3 acres of formal lawns, herbaceous borders, a pond and orchard.
We celebrate Art, Plants and Wildlife in equal measure providing a beautiful backdrop for artists to exhibit their work and for people to relax in and for a while step away from their busy lives.

The exhibition is open on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2.00pm – 5.00pm
On Sunday afternoons we serve homemade refreshments accompanied by the gentle acoustic guitar music of Simon Cottle that adds an additional dimension to the visitor experience

A garden for all seasons, do not forget our ever-popular snowdrop open days in February where many of the lawns turn into white drifts of winter cheer.

The sculpture garden is just 40 minutes from Bristol and 1 hour from Cardiff
