Cleddon Shoots is a beautiful part of the Wye Valley above the village of Llandogo, with great views over the River Wye. Cleddon Shoots describes the river running down the steep valley slopes, whilst Cleddon Falls are the beautiful waterfalls created.
It is said the distant sound of the water thundering down the slopes partly inspired Wordsworth's 'Lines composed a few miles above Tintern Abbey'.
