About

Get involved! We are looking for volunteers to join our mass participation dance project in September and we need groups or individuals (YOU?!) to join us.

We're arranging a mass participation movement piece inspired by nature and the ground beneath our feet, to be performed outdoors in Ross-on-Wye as part of Equinox Festival on Sat 23 September. We're working with Welsh choreographer Osian Meilir to curate the piece (their piece Qwerin featured in our 2022 festival, pictured above) and are basing it on the idea of creating a mandala with people – moving patterns in the landscape.

The performance will be around 15 minutes in length and we need 80-200 people to help us make it happen. You don't need prior dance experience, you just need to be able to make certain movements in time with everyone else, to attend a rehearsal to learn what to do, and be able to perform outside as part of a group in Ross-on-Wye on the performance date.
