Penylan Farm

About

Penylan Farm's cottages are situated in the heart of Monmouthshire on a working farm which was originally part of the Rolls Estate (co-founder of Rolls Royce) and, in fact, it is not unusual to see wild deer grazing in nearby parkland.

Each cottage is converted to a high standard with original oak beams, natural stone floors and underfloor heating making your stay extra special.

Only 5 miles from the bustling, medieval town of Monmouth with its many shops and restaurants and 20 minutes from Abergavenny which has a regular rail service taking you directly to the centre of Cardiff.

Ciderhouse Cottage sleeps 7
Beili Stable sleeps 4
The Mill sleeps 2

The locality offers a wealth of activities such as walking, with the famous Offa's Dyke path and Three Castles walk nearby, mountain biking canoeing and horse riding. Visit the magnificent border castles nearby, play a ground of golf at the well known Rolls of Monmouth club situated approximately a mile away or simply stay at home and unwind in the tranquil surroundings. A two minute walk to the highest point behind the farm will guarantee you breathtaking views of the Sugar Loaf, Black Mountains and surrounding rolling countryside.
