With 37 fantastic walks to enjoy on the 2025 Chepstow Walking Festival, it can be hard to choose which to go on. So we've taken a look and chosen one highlight from each of the six days of the festival.
Tuesday 22nd April - Earlswood and the Fringes of Wentwood

Exploring one of the prettiest areas of South Monmouthshire, this gentle 2-3 hour walk is a great dog friendly walk with opportunities for well-behaved dogs to be let of the lead and splash around in a stream.

A walk through a beautiful and lesser seen part of the Wye Valley as you take in Cleddon Shoots and Falls, a stunning series of waterfalls leading down to the River Wye.

Thursday 24th April - Devauden with Ice Cream

What's better than a walk? A walk with ice cream tasting included! You'll take in the pretty farms, forests, lakes and woodland around Devauden before popping in to Brooke's Wye Valley Dairy for a talk and tasting of their ice cream.

Friday 25th April - Batty about bats

A fascinating night time walk at the Old Station, Tintern. Find out all about bats, hopefully see some in flight and hear them using electronic bat detectors.

Saturday 26th April - Monmouth Challenge Walk

A walk for true walkers, this 13 mile walk will include nearly 3,000ft of ascent and stunning views across the Wye Valley and exploring the landscape and history of the borderland near Monmouth.
