About
The route leaves the NT car park at Clytha Park and follows the Usk Valley Walk downstream for 3.3km towards Chainbridge. It then leaves the river and follows the lane up to the lovely hamlet of Bettws Newydd and on to the Iron Age Fort of Coed y Bwnydd. From here you cross a series of fields to Clytha Castle Folly before returning to the car park
Points of interest include the River Usk, St. Aeddan’s Church and its restored cross, Coed y Bwnydd Iron Age Fort and Clytha Castle Folly.
