About
The year is 1645. The English Civil War rocks the country and Chepstow Castle has declared for the King, Charles I. Parliamentary forces lay siege to the castle, and you are there to experience life under siege in the 17th century.
Talk to soliders and guard and civilians helping out in any way posible. View their encampment and every day life, making clothes, healing the injured and making coinage. See the weapons on display, find out how to wield a 16ft pike or how to load and fire a musket.
There'll be chances to try on armour and handle the pike and sword of a soldier, plus children can take part in drills to help defend Chepstow Castle themselves.
