About

Set in the beautiful village of Llanvair-Discoed in Monmouthshire and only a short drive from Chepstow, The Woodlands Tavern – Country Pub and Dining is the perfect place to visit. A popular stop off for cyclists and walkers, with many climbing Gray Hill to reach the picturesque viewpoint of the Severn Estuary and fantastic views overlooking Wentwood.

Clive Williams, owner and chef, prides himself on cooking good honest food. He provides a modern twist on traditional pub grub. From locally sourced fresh fish to prime cuts of beef, The Woodlands Tavern will not disappoint. We offer carefully chosen wines as well as a good selection of beers, craft ales and cider – something for everyone!

Our refurbished Function Suite upstairs is the ideal space for private dining, family gatherings, weddings and parties.
