Mig Welding for Beginners One Day Introductory Course

This one-2-one tuition day course will provide a ‘hands-on approach to MIG (metal inert gas) welding and is suitable for aspiring welders ,farmers, sculptors, metal craft artists and DIY enthusiast to develop basic welding skills.

This course introduces the fundamental principles of mig welding, tools and techniques. This is a one day basic introduction to welding using low carbon steel (mild steel).

Ideal for a complete novice or beginner. You will learn how to set up your welding machine and the different types of welded joints. I have a background in education and training so this links into my past. I do have third party insurance covering all of the activities on offer. We can also advise on equipment choices for those who really get the welding bug! We often have people return to us having set themselves up with the kit, and want extra tuition to get the results they want. We ask you to come along wearing suitable non-synthetic clothing with long sleeves and closed-toe, solid footwear. Please bring a packed lunch.
