About

Hill Farm is a 15-acre smallholding overlooking the Wye Valley, comprising beautiful woodlands, paddocks and streams.

Enjoy spectacular views over the Wye Valley, ideal for guests who want to take time out to reconnect with nature and enjoy the peace and serenity of this fabulous location – just 40 minutes from Bristol and 1 hour from Cardiff.

With one of the best views of Tintern, Hill Farm is rural enough to be quiet with an abundance of plants and wildlife, but still close to Tintern, The Abbey and all other attractions across the Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean.

We are within walking distance to the village of Tintern which is steeped in history with an abundance attractions, pubs and eateries as well as stunning walks and cycle tracks.

Room With A View

Our Room With a View has its own amenities including a kitchenette, toilet and shower, and private entrance separate from the main house. We can make up a double or two single beds with professionally cleaned linen.

Outside is a small private patio where you can sit and admire the views, and we can also help you get a fire burning outside upon request. In the autumn and winter months, we have a great heating system to keep you warm and cosy.

Yurt Accommodation

If you are looking to slow down, connect with nature, enjoy a low impact getaway and maybe try something a little bit different – then we might be just what you are looking for!

We have two 18ft yurts and one 12ft yurt, offering you plenty of off-grid glamping options at Hill Farm. Accommodating up to 2 adults and 3 children in the 18ft yurts and 2 adults and one infant in the 12ft yurt, we also offer dog friendly yurt accommodation. Each yurt comes equipped with beds, a wood burning stove, outdoor kitchen area with picnic bench and all crockery and utensils supplied. The yurts are furnished with little touches of luxury, professionally cleaned linen and mattress protectors, sumptuous interiors inspired by the woodlands around us, bedside tables, seating areas and other creature comforts.

You are welcome to use our communal fridge/freezer for food items too large to fit within your kitchen cool box. Feel free to bring along extra blankets, torches, games and anything else to make your stay more comfortable.

We have flushing toilets and two showers as well as several compost toilets around the site.

Yurts are available to book for a minimum of a two-night stay from April to October.
