About

The reservoirs consist of two lakes of 16 and 10 acres respectively, they are well secluded and a good head of fish is maintained by regular stocking.
Because the reservoirs are so well established the fly life can be prolific, with plenty of buzzers, sedge, silverhorns, damsels and cranefly present. Nymph and dry fly fishing is particularly productive throughout the season.

Two quality boats are available on the lower reservoir for the use of members and their guests only.
Ynysyfro operates an unlimited catch and release policy with a 2 fish kill limit. Fishing must cease after 2nd fish killed. All fishing will be with fly only using barbless hooks. Season ticket holders will be offered a 100 fish kill limit from unlimited visits to the reservoirs.
Ynysyfro is an important wildlife habitat and particular care is necessary with respect to its wildlife.
