A murder mystery play!

About

Doors open at 7, show starts at 7.30 for this entertaining evening of murder and mystery brought to us by Magor Amateur Dramatics Group.

The action takes place in 1937, during the summer holidays, inside the Headteacher's study. The school's dynamic leader, Montgomery Rex, is spearheading preparations for the forthcoming academic year. Yet he's under tremendous pressure. Despite its leafy, picture-postcard appearance 'Berrigan Tuft' is in trouble and all manner of problems have begun to crawl out from under the cracks in its parquet flooring… rivalry, jealousy, lack of resources, poor academic performance and general staff dissatisfaction. Yet events take a sinister turn when 'Monty's' found murdered, strangled at his desk. Detective Inspector November is immediately dispatched from Scotland Yard to face this, the most rigorous of school inspections!
But who could be capable of murder…?

There will be a bar and two intervals and we invite you to bring your own " school packed dinner" to eat during the intervals. (We have even heard rumours of audience wearing school uniforms- but thats optional!)

To book your tickets please e mail to andrew.pullan@icloud.com who will reserve your seats and tell you how to pay.
